This mommy & me class is for toddlers who need a little extra help communicating. Learn new techniques to stimulate children's language.This program is conducted by an experienced, licensed Speech Pathologist. SESSION 1: Six 1-hour interactive classes beginning September 22, 2010. SESSION 2: Six 1-hour interactive classes beginning November 3, 2010.

VCLC is pleased to announce that it will be the host agency for the Long Island Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC) beginning July 1, 2010. VCLC was awarded a grant to combine the previous Nassau and Suffolk Early Childhood Direction Centers into one cohesive center for the region.

Effective January 29, 2010, VCLC was approved by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to be a provider of training in the needs of children with autism, mandated training in the needs of Children with Autism, a specific requirement for new special education teachers and administrators, and includes those seeking certification students with disabilities. The dates for the upcoming trainings will be 4/7/10, 5/5/10, 6/16/10.
