Long Island Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC)
The Long Island Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC) provides information to parents and professionals who are concerned about a Long Island child up to five years old, with or at risk of learning disabilities. Services are confidential and free of charge.

Staff also provides:
- Ongoing family support by telephone until a child with a learning disability is eligible for kindergarten
- Parent Education Training program for parents of children with learning disabilities transitioning from Early Intervention programs (EI) to the preschool system (CPSE) and from preschool to kindergarten (CSE)
- Assistance in Spanish
- Technical assistance
