Long Island Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC)

• Related Services: Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapies

• Early Childhood programs (such as preschools and day care)

Staff also provides:

• Ongoing family support by telephone until a child with special needs is school-age (or enters Kindergarten).



• Parent Education Training program for parents of children with learning disabilities transitioning from Early Intervention programs (EI) to the preschool system (CPSE) and from preschool to kindergarten (CSE)



• Assistance in Spanish



• Technical assistance



• Speakers

edades de nacimiento hasta los cinco años, que tienen una diagnosis o hay posibilidad de
atraso en su desarrollo y que viven en los condados de Nassau y Suffolk. Apoyo a familias
