Information is available to parents and staff from many sources. Serving children and families, who reside in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and Queens.
The Nassau Early Childhood Direction Center (ECDC) provides information to parents and professionals who are concerned about a Nassau County child up to five years old, with, or at risk of, learning disabilities. Services are confidential and free of charge.
Parents and staff are welcome to borrow books, DVDs/videos, and periodicals from the
parent library on various topics including child development, learning, language, behavioral issues, autism research and more.

websites that might be useful to parents and professionals.
Our extensive work with children with learning, language, and behavior problems, is reflected in an array of publications. Many of our
publications and articles are available to download as PDF files.
