Social Skills Programs
Social skills training groups are available for children ages four (4) through fourteen (14).
Children attending the program are functioning at or approaching age level in cognition and language, but have difficulty in social situations and relationships.
They may have diagnoses such as high functioning autism, Asperger's syndrome, attention deficit disorder or learning disabilities. However, these diagnoses are not necessary to participate in the program. Lessons have been carefully chosen to focus on skills to enhance the child's ability to perform appropriately in a variety of social situations.
There is a fee for this ten-week session. For more information, call Willis Mawyer at (516) 921-7171, ext. 2106 or e-mail at
