Related Services
Our Related Services Program provides services to children ages 3-5 who are classified by their school district’s CPSE (Committee on Preschool Education) as a preschool student with a disability and included in programs with their typically developing peers. Serving children and families, who reside in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and Queens.
VCLC offers a variety of Related Services to children and their families.
- Speech/Language therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Family or individual counseling
- Parent training
- Play therapy
Our therapists are certified and/or licensed and included on the municipality’s listing of Related Service providers.
Each therapist will implement learning strategies and interventions according to each child’s IEP (Individual Education Plan).
Our program is approved by the NYS Education Department at no cost to families.
