Related Services
The Related Services Program provides services to children ages 3-5 who are classified by their school district’s Committee on Preschool Education (CPSE) as a preschool student with a disability, and are included in programs with their typically developing peers. Serving children and families, who reside in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, and New York City.
VCLC offers the following Related Services.
- Speech/Language therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Family or individual counseling
- Parent training
- Play therapy
VCLC therapists are certified and/or licensed and included on the municipality’s listing of Related Service providers.
Therapists implement learning strategies and interventions according to each child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP).
This program is approved by the NYS Education Department.
Related services are provided at no cost to families.
