VCLC receives SED approval for mandated training in the needs of children with autism training
VCLC was recently approved (effective January 29, 2010) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to be a provider of training in the needs of children with autism.
This course is a NYSED mandated 3 hour training, in the needs of children with autism for new special education teachers seeking certification and new administrators and supervisors of special education.
Training will also be offerred to general educators, speech and language pathologists, school psychologists, social workers, teacher assistants, and parents.
